On 31st August 2023, Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development through its ๐‹๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐„๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐›๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฎ๐ž (๐‹๐„๐€๐ƒ) Project supported by the MacArthur Foundation held another edition of the ๐‹๐„๐€๐ƒ ๐‘๐š๐๐ข๐จ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐ž๐ง ๐“๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐‡๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐Œ๐ž๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  with a focus on ๐Š๐„๐˜ ๐๐„๐‘๐…๐Ž๐‘๐Œ๐€๐๐‚๐„ ๐ˆ๐๐ƒ๐ˆ๐‚๐€๐“๐Ž๐‘๐’ ๐…๐Ž๐‘ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‚๐€๐๐ˆ๐๐„๐“ ๐Œ๐ˆ๐๐ˆ๐’๐“๐„๐‘๐’ ๐ฏ๐ฌ ๐“๐‡๐„ ๐‚๐‡๐€๐‹๐‹๐„๐๐†๐„๐’ ๐Ž๐… ๐†๐Ž๐•๐„๐‘๐๐€๐๐‚๐„, ๐‹๐Ž๐‚๐€๐‹ ๐„๐‚๐Ž๐๐Ž๐Œ๐˜ ๐€๐๐ƒ ๐๐€๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐๐€๐‹ ๐”๐๐ˆ๐“๐˜ at the Centre’s Conference Hall in Abuja.

The meeting had in attendance stakeholders and issues around current realities in the country were discussed as well as key indicators the President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR should consider for the cabinet Ministers towards achieving the government’s set objectives.

Among these is the need for Ministers to collaborate with Civil Society Organizations when implementing policies to ensure optimal utilisation of resources, especially at the local level. Also, conduct regular and impartial evaluations to ensure that ministersโ€™ performances are continuously monitored and improvements are acknowledged.
