In February 2018, with support from the Presidential Committee on North East Initiative (PCNI), Savannah Centre engaged in Police - Community Relations Intelligence Gathering for Sustainable Security project for Borno, Adamawa and Yobe (BAY-States) in the North East. The project was designed to strengthen Police-Community relations as well as to enhance Community Policing towards fostering new security architecture in crime detection /prevention, intelligence gathering and early response in the North East in general.
